WORK EXPERIENCE

1993-Present – Self-employed CPA, Atlanta, Ga. Services include all aspects of income and estate tax planning, tax compliance, and accounting services. Clients are primarily small businesses and individuals.

1992-1993 – Property tax consultant with Consultax, Inc, Atlanta, Ga. Negotiated property tax settlements for commercial real estate owners.
1988-1992 – Served as controller and CFO of Boston, Ma. division of Trammell Crow Residential Co. (1988-1990.) Handled all accounting and finance functions of apartment and condominium development with staff of six until office closed

in 1990. Served as investment manager for Trammell Crow Interests Co., Dallas, Texas. (1990-1992.) Managed Trammell Crow family investment in Trammell Crow Residential Company as well as other family assets.

1986-1988 - Consultant to tax department of Contel Corporation, Atlanta, Ga. Primarily performed tax research and handled aspects of IRS audits. Part-time position in conjunction with Tarica and Co. phase out. (see below).

1979-1988 – Partner in charge of tax department of Tarica & Co., CPA’s, Atlanta, Ga. (1979-1985.) Managed staff of 3-4, handling all aspects of tax planning and compliance for small business and individual clients. Sold partnership interest to other partners in 1985 and remained as consultant on part-time basis through 1988.

1978-1979 – CFO of Village Centers, Inc., Atlanta, Ga. – strip shopping center developer. Handled all accounting and finance functions with staff of one person.

1971-1978 – Employed in tax department of Arthur Andersen & Co., CPA’s, Atlanta, Ga. Promoted to tax manager in 1976. Served medium and large business clients and related individuals in real estate, manufacturing and banking industries with tax planning and compliance services.
